Snoop Youth Football League

The 2nd Annual SYFL competition took place Sunday, November 15th at Cabrillo High School and it was a HUGE success. There were over 1200 family, friends, and spectators that came out to support the 300 SYFL cheerleaders. This was an exclusive event that included 11  out  of 12  SYFL  Chapters.

The cheerleaders performed in the Show Cheer Category and were judged by elite JAMZ judges. There was also  awesome performance by the SYFL mascots that danced to a song made by Snoop specifically for the cheerleaders.

Awards were given out in each Division to those teams earning the highest scores. The breakdown of the winners is as follows:

Jr. Clinic Division

1^st Place - Chargers * 

2^nd Place -  Buccaneers 

3^rd Place -  Steelers 

Clinic Division

1^st Place - Chargers * 

2^nd Place -  Browns 

3^rd Place -  Steelers 

4th Place - Vikings

Jr. Pee-Wee Division

1^st Place - Buccaneers

3^rd Place –  Giants

4th Place -  Steelers 

Jr. Midget Division 

1^st Place - Chargers * 

2^nd Place - Colts

3^rd Place -  Giants 

*'Shout Out' to the Chargers for winning 4 1st Place Trophies and to the Steelers for placing in 3 divisions.

The Cheer competition was organized by Dea Tramble, SYFL Cheer Director, along with cheer coordinators from each Chapter. A special thanks to Tawanda Carpenter, Chapter Presidents, Cheer Coordinators, Team Moms, Cheer Coaches, Trainers, and all of the hard working cheerleaders for making this another memorable experience.
